I find it upsetting that some vaccines are able to be made available within weeks and months while others, there are still no progress.  I’m a strong believer that this planet has what we require to live in terms of nutrition, survival and evolution.  We, unfortunately, are not tapped into our connection with this planet and its inhabitant, which is sadly why we are so focused on the pharmaceutical industry to save us with vaccines.  Diseases are an evolution of our malnutrition.  If you correct your malnutrition, the disease will dissipate.  This also includes the consumption of herbs and, of course, one of the most popular of them, cannabis.

For years, we’ve seen articles, essays, tv specials, documentaries as well as have friends and family members that have experience miracles using cannabis.  One documentary that made a tremendous impact was the widely-viewed TV special regarding the history of the Charlotte’s Web cannabis strain in order to help a little girl named Charlotte with her epilepsy.  I personally know many friends that consume cannabis for pain, epilepsy, endometriosis, anxiety, depression, etc.  These miracles happen all over the world every day, all because of this miracle plant.

Sadly, we still know very little about the plant and its potential, other than the various ways of getting “high”, methods of safer consumption and how to fight-off the terrible stereotypes associated with cannabis enthusiasts.  But what about concrete research in order to solidify this empirical evidence that we’re witnessing, hearing and seeing.  Cannabis is said to assist with depression, autism, cancer, pain, epilepsy, addiction, etc. yet in the last three years since cannabis has been legal in Canada, I’ve seen no advancements in these fields or towards assisting patients.

I was able to find a small available list of current studies that’s being conducted, which include: Improving our understanding of the endocannabinoid system; legitimizing cannabis for chronic pain treatment; THC doesn’t make you lazy; Cannabis may treat symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease; and, a natural THC-like cannabinoid was discovered.  Haven’t these studies been touched upon already?  Have they completed any benchmarking as I feel that some of these are genuine studies with great promises while others serve no purpose towards the greater Good.

There are very few organizations in Canada that are currently conducting any medical research on cannabis to mitigate and eliminate the various conditions and diseases since our governments don’t provide any incentives to assist with this.  Many universities, public and private colleges have developed programs to assist students to enter into this field, but none of these programs provide any solutions to solving the ultimate question:  Can consuming cannabis cure diseases and conditions?  Is the hope that these students will solve the problem?

In Israel, they continue to lead cannabinoid research and their studies are available for sale, which I feel there’s a better way to fund this research and have their studies available to all to review.   Israel is on the other side of the spectrum where they have very strict conditions for cannabis use, where recreational cannabis use continues to be frown upon, but it can be prescribed by a specialist for specific ailments.  Even after perusing various websites, journals and data banks, I’m still unable to find any published articles or conclusions on whether any person can benefit from consuming cannabis by killing various diseases and cell as well as assist with various conditions.

Most countries that legalized cannabis have done so from a purely economics perspective without any consideration towards the patient, at least in Canada.  It seems that in the U.S., the cannabis market has more growth and patients have more access to more products than the Canadian market.  Canada, on the other hand, has opted to centralize its cannabis suppliers to the white privilege with a former police chief who has the lead.
…..
It seems that their priorities are not well intended.  Shouldn’t we have a chemist, botanist, doctor, specialist to lead cannabis legalization, so we can focus on researching potential discoveries with this plant and help and potentially cure patients.  Isn’t it a little backwards to criminalize cannabis consumers or sell cannabis to patients when there’s a potential that it could cure cancer amongst many other diseases?   Canadians are well-known for our high population stricken with cancer, yet I hear promises that this wonderful plant kills cancer cells.  But, where’s the research?
….
How long are we going to wait for our government to care about its population and look into researching the cannabis plant and our cannabinoid system.  As the white privilege continue to get richer, Canadian and world citizens continue to die, suffer and struggle as we fail to push for more conclusions regarding the cannabis plant and the endocannabinoid system.  We should be more actively working with other companies, research labs, universities to re-focus the priority of the cannabis industry into an objective where it will implement and support cannabis research to help patients as opposed to make profits.
